What? It’s only been three days? It seems like we’ve already had a week’s worth of experiences! Today was another great day on the Camino. We walked 22.5 km from Esposende to Anha, and the terrain was decidedly different.
As we left the coastline, we started to pick up some elevation and encountered some beautiful forested areas along a river.
We also spotted a stork with two chicks in a nest, and we had our first glimpse at some livestock.
There were again many beautiful churches along the way as well.
Water is plentiful along the Camino.
This vending machine offered an interesting assortment ranging from water and energy drinks to cold packs and blister medication!
And finally, our hostel last night offered these words of wisdom as we ascended the stairs to the bunk rooms.
